A New Chapter for Ridgefield Small Business, The Rooted Plow

Taking Root in Ridgefield

Five years ago, two Ridgefield moms Diana Arfine and Leslie Leslie Realander became business partners when they launched The Rooted Plow, a curated line of hometown apparel, drinkware, home goods and gifts and decor.

The brand has been wildly successful working with local artisans and selling its unique products at Farmers’ Markets and in area boutiques including Wilton’s Local Soul and AR Marketplace at Audrey Road. And, while not intended from the get-go, Arfine and Realander say, “Our hometown designs shipped all over the country and internationally.”

Today, Arfine and Realander took to Facebook announcing that a new Ridgefield team will be taking the helm of The Rooted Plow. We are told that the new owners will introduce themselves soon! “We look forward to seeing the business thrive and evolve and can’t wait to see what’s next for it. You’ll learn more from the new team in the coming days.”

“After five years of crafting our hometown apparel, home goods, and gifts, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re passing the torch to another Ridgefielder who will carry The Rooted Plow into its next chapter,” they say.

The entrepreneurs explain, “The past two years have brought career opportunities, an out-of-state move, and the beginning of exciting new chapters for The Rooted Plow family.”

Thank you, to Diana and Leslie for bringing good things to Ridgefield (and beyond) and best of luck in your new ventures! We can't wait to meet the new owners!
