The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Diana Spence has been appointed as the Chamber’s new Executive Director.
Ms. Spence formerly served as the Communications Manager for the Chamber. In this position, she significantly increased visibility of Chamber members and events through creative social media and email campaigns. She has also assisted with developing and implementing an array of Chamber events, as well as meeting with members of the community to develop new and ongoing partnerships.
Dan O’Brien, Chamber Board Chair, said that: “We are delighted that Diana Spence has become the Chamber’s Executive Director. During the last year, as the Chamber’s Manager of Communications, Diana has been instrumental in the Chamber’s growth and its greater visibility within the community. Diana has also been a leader in the development of the Chamber’s new website and the launch of our Community Gift Card program, both of which will be available next month.”
Of her new position, Ms. Spence says, “I am excited to begin this next chapter with the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, and I look forward to working with the Chamber board and all of our new and existing members to continue the success of growing our community and keeping spending local.”
