Good Things in the Oven for Local Baker
Ridgefield resident Stacey Sussman, the owner of Stacey’s Totally Baked is spreading her sweetness and will soon have a storefront location!
Sussman has received a Zoning permit with the Town of Ridgefield and will open a bakery at 113 Danbury Road, the former location of Bahr & Co. A sign on the window of the shop says, “Hiring Part-time Baker’s Assistant” (you can email stacey@staceystotallybaked.com for details).
Sussman has made a name for herself in the community by bringing Stacey’s Totally Baked to local events and earning acclaim for her sweets! The pre-order bakery specializes in custom decorated cakes and baked goods including cupcakes, cookies, babkas and more, and currently offers online ordering and delivery,
Now, she transitions to bigger and better things - a brick-and-mortar location in the heart of Copps Hill Common!
On her website, Sussman shares her start-up story, “Stacey's Totally Baked began with a garbage truck cake for my son’s third birthday, then a unicorn for my daughter, a cake for a family wedding, and Stacey’s Totally Baked was born! In 2020, I left my job in the corporate world to devote myself full-time to Stacey’s Totally Baked. I am passionate about baking not just because I love to bake, but because I believe that spreading joy is a pretty important thing in this world. I am so thankful for the support of my wonderful Ridgefield community and for all of you who are helping me to make the world a sweeter place.”
… and the world is getting sweeter every day!
We have reached out to Stacey and will share additional details regarding opening, offerings, and more as soon as we can!
Small businesses matter!
