Delve into the world of drumming with drumming luminary, Carter McLean. This Intermediate / Advanced Master Class will take your playing and thinking to a new level and challenge you to rethink what you already know. After a 3 hour class with McLean, you’ll have a year’s worth of homework. Attendance is limited to 15 per class, all ages are welcome.

Since 2011, Carter McLean has held down the drum chair at Broadway’s longest running show, The Lion King. During that time McLean has enjoyed a fruitful sponsorship with Ludwig to, a partnership with ProMark which resulted in a signature stick, and in 2019, a Hal Leonard instructional book, Drumset Concepts & Creativity: Find Your Unique Voice on the Drumset, which became the fastest selling drum book in history. Having worked with artists like Charlie Hunter, Victor Wooten, Anthony Hamilton, Bernie Worrell (Parlament Funkadelic), and Fred Wesley (James Brown), McLean’s approach to the instrument and unique blend of expertise has positioned him as one of today’s top drummers, and most effective instructors.
fter 8 past sold out shows, THE MACHINE performs Pink Floyd returns for a night of classics from Pink Floyd’s extensive 16-album repertoire, complete with faithful renditions of popular hits as well as obscure gems. With stellar musicianship and passionate delivery, The Machine explores collective improvisation rivaling that of an early 1970’s Pink Floyd. Their use of expanded theatrical elements and elaborate stage displays and lighting continues in the spirit of the later Floyd of the 1980’s. The band is also known for recreating entire albums as a part of their show, accepting requests from fans, and for taking an A to Z approach in which one song is played for every letter of the alphabet. Special shows include lasers by the same company that provides classic Pink Floyd laser effects for Roger Waters and David Gilmour tours.

The Ridgefield Playhouse is proud to present a performance by the artists of Ballet Hispanico’s Pa’lante Scholars. The Pa’lante Scholars initiative is a career-centered, tuition-free professional training program that propels professional dancers onto the stage at the start of their career with Ballet Hispánico’s exciting repertory. Through exemplary artistry, the Pa’lante Scholars bring the joy and celebration of the Latinx/e cultures to life.
