Hannah Ward, a Lasell University student from Ridgefield was one of 11 team members to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC).
Students from Lasell's School of Fashion and Longe School of Business competed individually and in teams in categories including fashion merchandising, retail management, human resources, marketing communications, and advertising.
Ward and her team placed among the top 10 in their category, advertising.
DECA, Inc. prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in both high schools and colleges around the globe. Lasell's DECA chapter has been an active participant in events including the annual ICDC.
