Donnelly Rodgers awarded Emerging Artist Scholarship

The Ridgefield Guild of Artists and William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty are pleased to announce and congratulate Donnelly Rodgers, of Ridgefield, as the recipient of their first annual Emerging Artist Scholarship. Donnelly, who will be entering his senior year at Ridgefield High School this Fall, creates works that focus on developing photorealistic artworks meant to trick the eye into thinking they are photographs.

The Ridgefield Guild of Artists recently collaborated with Willam Pitt Sotheby's to establish a satellite gallery in the Sotheby's offices located on Main St. The primary focus of the artists selected to exhibit at the gallery is on emerging artists. To further recognize and support emerging artists, The Guild and Sotheby's decided to create a scholarship that would support their endeavors. In addition to receiving the scholarship, the awardee's works will also be exhibited as featured artists at the gallery. This year, Donnelly Rodgers' works will be exhibited as part of the 2023 Holiday Stroll schedule for December 1st.
