The Ridgefield Police would like to publicly welcome our newest Officers:
Duane Biros badge #218, Matthew Glassman badge #219, Benjamin Conrad badge #220 and Alejandro Matos III badge #221.
They were all sworn in this morning, during a ceremony held at the Lounsbury House.
Officers Biros comes to Ridgefield after completing twenty years with the New Haven Police Department. He'll be assigned to a shortened Field Training program to help him transition over to Ridgefield, then you'll see him on the road soon.
Officer Glassman, Officer Conrad and Officer Matos will start the CT Police Academy on July 7th, which they will attend for approximately six months. They will then start their Field Training Program in Ridgefield, once the academy is complete.
We wish them all the best of luck and look forward to seeing the three Officers back in Ridgefield soon.
