Welcome Home…Let’s Chat About Blueprints & Blue Jeans!

The annual Housatonic Habitat for Humanity signature fundraiser Blueprints & Blue Jeans is just weeks away! As a proud sponsor of the event, I can’t wait to “dress down” and enjoy the night of live music, delicious food, friendly conversation and inspiring stories.

This year’s event will be held at the Ridgefield Playhouse on October 4th beginning at 6:30pm. Tickets are available here. In addition to purchasing a ticket, participate online in the Silent Auction, or donate an item.

As a Realtor, I see the importance and pride that home ownership brings on a daily basis. This fundraiser and additional donations help Housatonic Habitat for Humanity build a stronger community one family and one home at a time.

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity allows recipients to own an affordable home with an affordable mortgage. Their children are able to stay in school creating stable families, which in turn creates stable communities. The model is well-tested and works.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization and each year hundreds of them contribute their time and talents to support the initiative. The organization also operates ReStore, a 10,000 square foot home improvement and resale warehouse turning donated items into Habitat homes.

In addition to building homes, Habitat for Humanity also allows senior citizens and veterans on fixed incomes to remain in their homes by providing simple home repairs, as well as installing ADA safety modifications through the Aging In Place program.

For more information on how you can get involved connect with me or contact Housatonic Habitat for Humanity. Can’t wait to see you on Wednesday, October 4th !
