Ridgefield Letter: Christine More for Board of Education

My support NEVER comes from a place of politics. It comes from personal experience.

In the case of my friend Christine More, it’s a personal experience that goes back to age 9 when I first became a student of hers at Washington Irving School in Tarrytown, NY.

From fourth grade from 2000-2001 to fifth grade 2001-2002 I got to see Christine teach with AMAZING integrity & BEAUTIFUL kindness that enriched my life & all my fellow classmates.

She taught with kindness and passion in EVERYTHING she did and she ALWAYS went out of her way to lend a hand for ANYONE who needed it.

Being on the Autism Spectrum my school years were NEVER easy for me but Christine knew how to put me at ease with a TERMENDOUS sense of understanding & warmth when things seemed too overbearing throughout the day and I excelled GREATLY in her classes because of it!

The fact I made the honor roll more times in her classes than any others I’ve been in from pre-school to High School goes to show just what kind of positive impact she has & will continue to make on the lives of our town’s kids!

Christine has BEAUTIFUL gifts in education that she uses to the full and that will carry over to the Ridgefield BOE in ways that will ENRICH it for a long time to come!
