Friends of Weir Farm Invite Kids To Bring Your Teddy Bear to the Park Tomorrow!

The Friends of Weir Farm invites kids to Bring Your Teddy Bear to the Park tomorrow, Sunday, October 22,  featuring our giant 5-foot-tall teddy bear, J. Alden Bear, and fun bear-themed activities, crafts and photo ops.

Stop by the Friends of Weir Farm tent near the Visitor Center from 11 am to 1 pm on Sunday, October 22 to earn a Junior Ranger Badge by completing one of the fun bear activities. Or join us at the Friends’ tent at 11:30 am, and then again at 12:30 pm, for a special bear story time. Then go on an Art Bears Scavenger Hunt and check out the colorful outdoor Art Bears installation before the bears ‘leave’ in November.

While you are at the park, hike to the Weir Pond or Take Part in Art and create your very own work art! Step back into history and tour the Weir House and artists’ studios, and check out the Weir Barn.

All activities are free and open to ‘kids’ of all ages. Light refreshments will be served.
