Famous voice actor Alan Sklar will entertain us at the Ridgefield Library on Sunday, October 29th at 2:00 PM by reading aloud two Lawrence Block stories.
On the menu will be: “A Bad Night for Burglars” (15 minutes): A wealthy man who wishes to rid himself of his wife discovers a burglar in his upper East Side apartment and…Ah!…gets an idea!
Also, “How Far It Could Go” (25 minutes): A young woman being sued by her ex interviews a charming mobster. She seeks help ridding herself of this problem, and he offers his services- but new information surfaces and she changes her mind. Surprise ending!
Lawrence Block has been writing crime, mystery, and suspense fiction for more than half a century. He has published over 100 books, and no end of short stories.
