A Magical Night of Song, Santa, Lights and Love
On the heels of the Thanksgiving feast, last night, Friday, November 24, thousands of community members descended upon the downtown area to see Main Street trees sparkle and celebrate the start of the holiday season! It was truly a sight to behold!
The one and only Ira Joe Fisher dazzled as Master of Ceremonies who, along with Ridgefield Theater Barn kids, directed by Anya Caravella, and RHS Madrigals filled all present with the holiday spirit through cheer and song.
Just before Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their special elf arrived on a shiny red Fire Truck, Alex Fischetti, whom Ira Joe Fisher deemed “the Mayor of Ridgefield” flipped the ceremonial switch to light up downtown Ridgefield!
After greeting guests on Main Street, Santa and Mrs. Claus and being joined on the steps of Town Hall with the Ridgefield Grinch (whose heart has truly grown three sizes) the guests of honor settled in the “North Pole”, the patio of Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe, to greet children.
The holiday celebrations continue next week with the Downtown Ridgefield Holiday Stroll on December 1 and December 2. Learn more here.
