Holiday Stroll Open House at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center This Friday

It’s time for the Holiday Stroll Open House at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center! Be one of the first to see our festive holiday decorations this Friday, December 1 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all.

KTM&HC’s annual Open House, a part of Ridgefield’s beloved Holiday Stroll weekend, is a great opportunity for families to explore the first floor of the centuries-old museum at their own pace. Costumed museum interpreters will be stationed throughout to answer questions and share stories about the site’s former residents. Fun activities, including a partridge scavenger hunt and take-home craft, will engage younger visitors as they make their way through period rooms that reflect historic traditions and ways of living from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.

The Open House at KTM&HC is free, and no registration or tickets are required. All visitors should check in at the red brick Visitor Center upon arrival. Parking is available onsite at 152 Main Street.

Come for the Open House . . . and stay for the shopping! KTM&HC’s Holiday Boutique in the Barn, an annual Ridgefield shopping tradition, is extending its hours for one day only, so that Holiday Strollers can make the most of their visit to the museum. On December 1, visit the carriage barn any time between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. to shop a wide array of thoughtfully curated gifts and décor.
