The Guild's Festive Home 2023 is Still Going Strong!

Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ annual pop-up-shop fundraiser, Festive Home 2023, continues through Sunday, December 17. Holiday shopping hours are Tuesday – Sunday, 12-5pm. “Shop local, and shop creatively at our holiday show!” says Pam Stoddart, Executive Director and Co-Chair of Festive Home. “We have loads of original art, hand-made artisanal items, and our annual member-donated canvases. Find those unique items you’ve been looking for!”

Festive Home 2023 is the Guild’s 17th holiday extravaganza. The white gallery walls are once again transformed into a holiday showcase, including festive vignettes by local designers Rachel Belden, Jennifer Coleman, Molly Hirsch, and Jill Rae. They have generously given their time and talents to enhance the holiday atmosphere and offer inspiration to all.

This year, the Guild is going back to its original mission as a growing regional arts organization, highlighting member artwork and locally hand-crafted items for gift-giving and decorating. Shoppers will find original art, prints, holiday cards, jewelry, knitted hats, scarves and mittens, soaps, pottery, candles, ornaments, and much, much more.

“It’s tradition at the Guild for members to create, and donate back, small themed canvases to be sold at Festive Home as a special fundraiser each year. With our 50th Anniversary year just beginning, it is fitting to have our barn as the theme,” Mary Pat Devine, President and Co-Chair explains. “Come in to see all we have to offer!”

The Guild thanks all the volunteers and sponsors who have helped to make its largest fundraiser of the year a success: Guild member volunteers and NCL; and Carole Cousins Real Estate, Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe, 109 Cheese and Wine, HamletHub, Michael and Sonia Ippoliti, Sturges Bros, and Tusk & Cup. We are grateful for everyone’s generosity.

Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ antique gallery barn is located at 34 Halpin Lane, at the bottom of the hill just before Ridgefield’s Rail Trail.  For more details about Festive Home 2023, visit our website @ www.rgoa.org or call the Guild at 203.438.8863. All profits from sales at this annual fundraiser will go towards continuing and developing new programs at the Guild.

For fifty years, the Guild has grown from a clubhouse of sorts to a place for 300+ members to inspire, create, and explore! RGOA is a tax-exempt 501c3 non-profit arts organization. All contributions are gratefully accepted.
