Welcome Home…Let’s Chat About Supporting Ridgefield’s Awesome D14 Cheer Team!

You may be wondering why I’m writing about the Ridgefield Tiger’s American Youth Cheer in my real estate column today…I would be wondering too!

As you may know, the four pillars of my business are Be Local, Be Innovative, Be Personal and Be Family. Celebrating and supporting our community’s teams and activities is important, and having the opportunity to share one of our daughter’s team’s achievements is super special!

The Ridgefield Youth Cheerleading D14 Team crushed it at the 2023 New England AYC Regional Cheerleading Competition at the University of New Hampshire in November! It was exhilarating to witness the payoff of the team’s hard work by all 16 members of the squad; finishing as Northeast Regional Grand Champions with their highest score to date. The commitment, dedication and effort of the whole team was front and center, resulting in an earned spot at the American Youth Cheer National Championships® in Florida taking place in early December.

Service with the purpose of fundraising is a skill developed by many local school teams. Based on the very tight timeline to travel to the national competition, Ridgefield Youth Cheer is asking for your help and monetary support. If you are interested in celebrating the 16 wonderful young ladies, who have worked tirelessly to achieve this impressive result, please consider a donation to the team while at The Holiday Stroll this weekend or via Venmo at @RYFCTigers.

The mission of Ridgefield Youth Cheer is to develop the physical and mental well-being of all participants.  The coaches and parents are dedicated to instilling high moral standards, sportsmanship, and athletic and academic achievements. Ridgefield Youth Cheer encourages young athletes to become productive members of their schools and community.

I believe giving back to your community is vital. I believe hard work is important. I believe teamwork is key. And I believe commitment is critical. Ridgefield embodies these values for our children, and I’m thankful to live in a town where they are encouraged. And don’t forget to keep your eye out for the Tigers at the Stroll, always exuding enthusiasm and pride for the local community!

GO TIGERS!
