New Eagle Scout in Ridgefield! Congratulations Logan Tole!

Logan Tole of Ridgefield Troop 76 earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America) in late November after passing the Eagle Board of Review.

Tole became the 127th Eagle Scout in Troop 76 in Ridgefield. As a scout, he has earned 39 Merit Badges, served in leadership positions and volunteered hours of community service. As a requirement for Eagle, Logan completed a significant community service project which can be seen at Shadow Lake on the hiking path where he planned and supervised the restoration of the main bridge enhancing its safety and appeal. In addition, invasive plants were removed around the bridge.

Less than five percent of all scouts become Eagles. Logan Tole joins an elite group in scouting that includes many famous and notables such as President Gerald Ford, Steven Spielberg and Neil Armstrong. Within Ridgefield’s Troop 76, Eagle Scouts have gone on to the U.S. Military Academies at West Point and Annapolis, successful corporate careers and even Saturday Night Live.

Troop 76 (www.troop76.org) meets Tuesday evenings at Jesse Lee Church.
