Flag Policy is subject of Ridgefield BOS Meeting on Dec. 13

At this Wednesday’s BOS meeting, the Board will be discussing (and possibly voting on) a Flag Policy for Town-owned properties, as other towns in Connecticut have implemented. The purpose of the policy is to regulate the growing number of requests for flags to be displayed on the flagpole in front of Town Hall. The need for a policy has become evident in order to remain fair and unbiased to all members of our community.

As with every BOS meeting, Public Comment is the first item on the agenda. All are encouraged to attend.

As a reminder, the proposed amendments to the Noise Ordinance regarding gas powered leaf blowers has been withdrawn and will not be discussed at the Wednesday’s public hearing or meeting.
