New York Voices Holiday Show on December 14 at The Ridgefield Playhouse
Join us in the lobby beginning at 7pm for wine specials and art exhibit by Mozelle Marks!
“New York Voices lives up to its reputation as the most exciting vocal ensemble in current jazz…to collect such quality voices in one group is rare enough, yet the real trick of New York Voices is how well they mesh…” –Boston Herald
Join Grammy-Winning vocal ensemble, New York Voices, and their band on December 14 as they decorate the night with music from their beloved holiday album, Let it Snow, and a smattering of traditional jazz standards.
Infusing the classics with their 4-part harmony is what they are most famous for showcasing. Bring the family and prepare to be promptly put in the holiday spirit. Founded in 1987, New York Voices is a jazz vocal group that comprises Peter Eldridge Lauren Kinhan, Darmon Meader, and Kim Nazarian. Each member has a separate and busy career of their own, working as a soloist and educator in the jazz vocal world, but they have always made New York Voices their top priority. NYV consistently increases its currency in the jazz world via collaborations with institutions such as the Count Basie Orchestra, Paquito d’Rivera, and the Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band.
Visit GALLO (5 Grove Street, Ridgefield) for dinner before the show and get a complimentary glass of house wine with your entrée when you present your tickets!
