Services planned for 7 Year old Max Rosenfield

Max Michael Rosenfield, 7 of Ridgefield, CT passed away on March 14, 2012. Max was an amazing boy. He was the electricity in the room. Max touched the lives of many people and left a lasting impression on all of them. He loved life and was a compassionate boy, who genuinely cared for others. His kindness was felt by everyone. Max loved to collect can tabs to benefit a children’s burn foundation and never went to anyone’s house without a tray of his famous, homemade brownies.

In his few short years, Max enjoyed many activities and was an active member of the Ridgefield community. He was a student at Farmingville Elementary School, where he made many friends, and was in the Chess Club. Max was a member of the Ridgefield Basketball Association, the Ridgefield Little League, the Ridgefield Youth Football League and The Boys and Girls Club.

Max was a member at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Danbury, where enjoyed volunteering his time and was proud to serve as an altar boy beside his brother and cousin, who looked up to him and wanted to be just like him.

Max was an avid Boston sports fan who changed the fate of the Red Sox Nation when he was born in Boston in 2004, the year the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years.

Max is survived by his loving parents, Jill Kerpchar-Rosenfield and Ken Rosenfield, his adoring brother Adam Rosenfield, his maternal grandparents Kathryn and Michael Kerpchar, his Godmother Kate Kerpchar, his best friend and cousin, Michael Browne, his paternal grandparents, Linda Rosenfield and the late Stanley Rosenfield, and his Aunt, Laurie Rosenfield.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield, CT on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 1 PM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM. www.kanefuneralhome.net

 The Rite of Burial for a Child will take place at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 19, 2012 in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 74 Joe’s Hill Rd., Danbury, CT.

Interment will be private.
