Primetime Emmy Award nominee, Alan Ruck, has made over 100 appearances in films and television, and on stage. Ruck just completed his fourth season on the HBO series Succession, which earned him the aforementioned Emmy nomination. In 2022 Ruck co-starred in the Hulu limited series, The Dropout, chronicling the real-life and fall of Elizabeth Holmes. In addition, he co-starred in the Amazon studios, The Burial, starring opposite Tommy Lee Jones and Jamie Foxx. However he remains best known for his iconic role as the friend of Matthew Broderick and hopeless hypochondriac Cameron Frye, in John Hughes’s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
