Join us at the Ridgefield Library on Wednesday, June 11th at 1:00 pm as we welcome The Alzheimer’s Association presenting the topic of supporting independence.
The Alzheimer’s Association offers a range of caregiver skill-building courses, which aim to help caregivers feel more prepared to handle the challenges that come with caring for someone living with dementia.
This session, “Supporting Independence,” focuses on helping the person living with dementia take part in daily activities, providing the right amount of support and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations. Register here to attend.
This hybrid program is offered in person or online. Attending in person is best, but if you prefer to attend online, a Zoom link will be provided when you register.
