The Moussé family, tending to their vines in the village of Cuisles since 1750, has been crafting exquisite Champagne since 1923. Famille Moussé Champagne "L'Esquisse" is a testament to their dedication and expertise. While technically a "micro-negociant," their commitment to quality aligns seamlessly with the grower champagne movement.
Cédric Moussé, at the helm since 2003, oversees a holistic approach to viticulture, prioritizing compost, cover crops, and organic methods. The unique limestone and green clay soil imparts a distinctive character to their wines.
About L'Esquisse:
Blend: 70% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir
Harvests: 70% 2021, 30% 2020
Fermentation: Stainless steel, followed by 18 months of bottle aging
Dosage: Merely 2 grams per liter, offering exceptional dryness and balance
This Blanc de Noir showcases a soft texture, making it a versatile companion for various cuisines or as a delightful aperitif. It's a testament to the Moussé family's dedication to excellence.
