Blend of new and historic: A Queen B limited edition

Something new and yet historic will be on offer, with free samples, on Saturday, April 26, from 10:30 to 1 at Queen B Coffee Co., 417 Main Street, Ridgefield.

It’s “Bee Historic,” a limited edition blend created by owners Heather and Jennifer Bellizzi. The sisters, who roast and blend their coffee inside the café, came up with the new blend to support the Ridgefield Historical Society, as part of their outreach to Ridgefield community organizations. The historical society will receive 20% of the sales proceeds from the new coffee, which is described as smooth, rich and slightly darker than a medium roast.

Taste it for yourself on Saturday and pick up a bag of beans to brew your own (and support the work of the Ridgefield Historical Society). (Queen B, https://queenbcoffeecompany.com, is also the spot to enjoy a pastry or get sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc.

For more information about the historical society, please visit https://ridgefieldhistoricalsociety.org.
