Fairfield County Bank is excited to announce the sale of its insurance division, Fairfield County Bank Insurance Services, to HUB International Limited.
Headquartered in Ridgefield, Connecticut, with additional offices across the state and New York, Fairfield County Bank Insurance Services is an independent insurance agency providing commercial and personal insurance, as well as employee benefits services.
HUB International is a leading full-service global insurance broker and financial services firm with over 18,000 employees in offices throughout North America. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“With the constantly evolving insurance industry, the sale of our insurance division to HUB International offers a great opportunity for an expanded platform of services to be made available to existing insurance customers and the Bank’s Clients while at the same time enabling former employees to enter a larger organization with additional opportunities to grow,” said Fairfield County Bank CEO, David Schneider.
The Fairfield County Bank Insurance Services team, including CEO Mark Connelly, will join the HUB New England division. “HUB has a stellar reputation in the market,” said Connelly. “We are excited to join HUB and work with talented individuals to help grow and expand our resources and services for our clients.”
