Fairy Tales Come True in Ridgefield on July 20 with Princesses in the Park!

Four is a CHARM! Princesses in the Park Returns to Ridgefield on July 20!

Ridgefield’s favorite fairy tale tradition is back. Princesses in the Park returns to Ballard Park on Sunday, July 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Presented by Sweet Bean Events, this free family festival promises a day full of wonder, play, and picture-perfect memories.

Now in its fourth year, Princesses in the Park continues to grow, drawing families from across Fairfield County for a magical day in the heart of downtown Ridgefield. Children will have the chance to meet and mingle with their favorite storybook characters, enjoy live stage performances, and take part in creative activities designed for all ages.

Festival highlights include:

  • Live performances under the trees
  • Meet-and-greets with princesses throughout the park
  • Photo opportunities at the Ballard Park gazebo
  • Vendor booths offering family-friendly items and crafts
  • Hands-on activities and entertainment for children
  • Food available for purchase from Odeen’s BBQ, Waffle Cabin, and Teah’s Italian Ice

Adding to the excitement, this year’s festival includes a surprise visit from beloved characters of the Emerald City, bringing a touch of ruby slipper magic—and perhaps a little mischief—to the day’s festivities.

Admission is free and open to all. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket, wear their fairy tale best, and enjoy a summer afternoon filled with community spirit and childhood delight.
