Ridgefield Annual Budget Process

Friday, January 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM

Winter is budget season in Ridgefield, and this seminar offers a unique educational opportunity to understand the town’s budget planning process. Please note: This is not a public hearing. Instead, it’s an informative session designed to explain how Ridgefield’s budget is funded and spent, explore historical trends, and break down capital budget and tax rate calculations. Co-Hosted by the League of Women Voters

Ridgefield Board of Finance members Mike Rettger (Vice Chair) and Andrew Okrongly will guide attendees through the process, providing insights and answering questions. The National Charity League Nutmeg Chapter, will generously offer light refreshments to attendees.

This session is ideal for residents seeking to better understand the budgeting process and how they can participate in public hearings later in the season.
