Meet a real-life Indiana Jones at Ridgefield Library on Tuesday, February 27!

Meet a real-life Indiana Jones! Terry Garcia, long-time head of exploration for the National Geographic Society, is coming to the Ridgefield Library on Tuesday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss and sign his new book The Future of Exploration.

Garcia will share some of his most amazing experiences uncovering and preserving ancient artifacts that shaped human history as well as share stories about some of the most famous explorers of our time, including Jane Goodall, Richard Branson, Robert Ballard and Louise Leakey. He’ll describe the excitement of exploration and the moment of discovery, what drives individuals to push the limits of their endurance, and why he believes the 21st century will be a the greatest age of exploration in history.
