** Please note: Pietro Polini has informed us that the new owner, Scott Yandrasevich will take the reins of TerraSole once the liquor permit paperwork has been finalized - estimated completion by September 1. Until that time, Polini remains the owner of TerraSole.
TerraSole, located at 3 Big Shop Lane in Ridgefield, has been sold. In a heartfelt note to his customers and the community, Pietro Polini shared the news that he is embarking on a new journey. Polini opened TerraSole in 2009 bringing authentic dishes from his native Puglia, Italy to downtown Ridgefield.
Polini wrote, “After almost fifteen years in business and raising my children in town, it’s a bittersweet moment to announce that I will be embarking on a new journey. Terrasole is sold.”
Polini expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his patrons, thanking them for their continuous support "No matter what, you will always have a special place in my heart. I will never forget you. You left a mark that will never be replaced." Polini acknowledged brighter days ahead for his family.
“I take pride in my achievements and sincerely hope that the new owner Scott** will find the same joy and success that I have had,” he said.
“A big thank you to everyone who has supported my restaurant throughout the years and for your ongoing support in the future. I will cherish the wonderful memories, camaraderie, and joy shared with all of you,” Polini said.
Best of luck to Pietro as you begin a new chapter. Thank you for being part of our celebrations and our lives and for making Ridgefield your home. We will miss you.
