Ridgefield High School (RHS) Poetry Out Loud winner sophomore Lia Munoz Rojas represented RPS at the regional Poetry Out Loud recitation competition before the February break. For the regional round, she submitted videos of herself reciting two poems, El Ovido by Judith Ortiz Cofer and Envy by Mary Lamb. Her stirring recitation of the two poems earned her a spot in the State competition on March 7.
