Ridgefield, CT - Ms President US proudly honored Ridgefield High School senior Julia Knispel at its Signature Campaign and Election event on April 6th, for her extraordinary leadership, service, and dedication to mentorship. Julia was recognized with a Senior Mentor Scholarship, highlighting the vital role of mentorship in shaping the next generation of female leaders. Julia Knispel, recipient of the League of Women Voters Scholarship, has been a mentor for four years and was a participant in the program before that. During her time with Ms President US, she served on the Junior Board in multiple leadership roles, including Treasurer, Vice President, and President. These awards underscore the powerful impact that young volunteers can make in their communities, especially when they serve as mentors to younger participants in the Ms President US program. "Mentors make the difference," said Amanda Cordano, Executive Director of Ms President US. "They are the heart of our program, guiding and inspiring the next generation of confident, civic-minded young women." Julia's dedication to the mission of Ms President US to build self-confidence, develop leadership skills, and nurture a commitment to community service has helped younger girls envision themselves as future leaders and perhaps even future presidents.
