Big news for Ridgefield! The Meetinghouse, located at 605 Ridgebury Road, is set to become even more of a community hub with the launch of The Market at The Meetinghouse! The vision behind this exciting endeavor comes from Deborah Rundlett, director of The Meetinghouse and pastor of Ridgebury Congregational Church.
To bring this dream to life, The Meetinghouse has partnered with Adrienne Burke, owner-operator of Greiser’s Coffee & Market in Easton. With her talented team, Burke will play a key role in designing, staffing, setting up, and launching the market.
What to Expect at The Meetinghouse Market
Come April, visitors will be able to enjoy their mornings and afternoons at The Meetinghouse Market with fresh coffee, espresso, and artisanal baked goods. A chef will be onsite, preparing made-to-order sandwiches, paninis, salads, and more for lunch. For those on the go, the market will feature a refrigerator and freezer section stocked with gourmet groceries—including what we hear are incredible chicken pot pies! Additionally, there will be a dedicated 200-square-foot retail space showcasing local artisans' work.
"The Meetinghouse is thrilled to announce that Adrienne Burke, owner-operator of Greiser’s Coffee & Market in Easton, with her amazing team, has agreed to assist in the design, hiring, setting up, and launch of The Market at The Meetinghouse!"
How You Can Get Involved
The Meetinghouse is inviting the community to help co-create this new space. Contributions of furniture are welcomed, and community members are encouraged to consider opening a house account.
