Ridgefield Amateur Hockey Association (Ridgefield Lions) sent 6 teams from the 10U, 12U, and 14U age divisions to Lake Placid to participate in the CanAm Hockey Tournament this past weekend. CanAm hosts teams from the U.S. and Canada to compete in a three day tournament and the Ridgefield Lions competed across 6 divisions and three different age groups taking home 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals. This is the highest medal count for Ridgefield in more than 10 years and highlight the exceptional culture of competitiveness, player development, and community that has been created and embraced by the coaching staff, volunteers, players, and parents throughout the organization.
