The Ridgefield Garden Club and the Ridgefield Historical Society are joining forces to present a brand-new event celebrating the town’s natural beauty and rich history. The inaugural Ridgefield Garden Tour: Beyond the Garden Gate will take place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, offering visitors a rare opportunity to explore some of Ridgefield’s most stunning private gardens.
Timed to coincide with the peak of seasonal blooms, the tour will showcase seven gardens of various sizes, styles, and designs. While the homes themselves will not be open to the public, each garden is part of a property with a distinct place in Ridgefield’s history, spanning from the early 18th century to the mid-20th century. The event will also highlight one of Ridgefield’s most beloved public gardens at Ballard Park, reinforcing the town’s dedication to preserving and enhancing its green spaces.
