"Raise your hand if you ever felt like you couldn't talk to anyone about how you felt.
Raise your hand if you have ever felt alone.
Raise your hand if you have ever felt stressed at school.
Raise your hand if you have ever felt like you didn't fit in.
Raise your hand if you are ever stressed about what your future holds."
Ridgefield Public Schools is spotlighting a remarkable video created by the Ridgefield High School Class of 2025, highlighting its significance as an inspiring initiative for the entire community. This student-generated video debuted during halftime at the Mental Health Awareness football game in November and was later shown during Advisory sessions, reaching the entire school community.
The video, a collaborative effort, was spearheaded by Student Body President Naomi Vakil, who wrote the script. Sophomore Preston Penn filmed and edited the project, bringing it to life with creativity and professionalism. Additionally, students Lucas Clausen, Mia Colabella, Bryan Fitzpatrick, and Max Keppler worked closely with the RHS administration to organize and execute the video. The participation of numerous RHS football players and other student-athletes added a dynamic and relatable element to the production.
Thank you to these students for joining in solidarity to encourage conversations about mental health among the RPS community. Ridgefield is proud!
