In Celebration of National Recycling Month, the Ridgefield Lions Club invites community members to participate in their annual Shredding Day event on Saturday, April 26, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This initiative offers residents a secure method to dispose of sensitive documents while promoting environmental stewardship.

- Cost: $10 per copy paper-sized box; cash or check accepted
Special Offer:
The first 50 participants to drop off documents for shredding will receive a complimentary Black Hill Spruce sapling, generously provided by Barts Tree Service. This initiative encourages both recycling and reforestation efforts within the community.
- Accepted Items: Personal documents such as bills, receipts, bank statements, medical records, and tax forms.
- Prohibited Items: Binders, binder clips, spiral notebooks, and pendaflex folders, as the shredding equipment cannot process metal materials.
All proceeds from the event will support the Ridgefield Lions Club's various community projects, including assistance for senior citizens and student scholarships.
