Ridgefield Youth Commission Hosts Virtual Panel on Mental Health Resources for Young People

The Ridgefield Youth Commission is committed to supporting the well-being of local youth, and on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM, the organization will host Empowering Minds: Finding Mental Health Resources for Young People in Our Community.

This virtual panel discussion will provide valuable insight into the free mental health resources available in town and within the community.

The event will feature a panel of experts who work closely with Ridgefield’s youth:

  • Brittany Williams, TeenTalk Counselor at Ridgefield High School
  • Tom Dardis, Youth Officer and Juvenile Review Board Facilitator
  • Kate Williams, Student Resource Officer
  • Nathan Carpenter, Clinical Director of The Ridgefield Youth Service Bureau

This informative session aims to connect parents, students, and community members with the professionals and programs that offer support to young people facing mental health challenges.
