Each year American Legion Post 78 of Ridgefield sponsors an essay contest to promote the principles of Americanism and appreciation for the freedoms which we enjoy. The photo shows this year's winners and members of the Legion's contest committee. Winners are from the Ridgefield High School senior class and each receives a $1500 cash prize.
