Construction has commenced on Ridgefield’s new Alternative High School and Transition Program facility at 34 Halpin Lane, following voter approval of a $2.9 million bond in February. During construction, both dog parks at the site will remain open; however, the overflow dog park will be closed. Parking may be limited, so visitors are advised to use caution and prepare for potential delays when entering and leaving the area. The new facility is expected to open in fall 2025.
