Ron Herman announces Sunrise Cafe will move to new location in Ridgefield

Ron Herman, the owner of Ridgefield’s popular Wooster Hollow Cafe, the Sunrise Cafe inside the Martinson Barn on the campus of the Meetinghouse in Spring 2024 and just announced the Café  will be moving to a new location in central Ridgefield.

“We will announce the location after all details are finalized. We hope to reopen Sunrise Café early in the New Year and will stay focused on our mission to donate all profits to local charities.” Herman wrote on Instagram.

Sunrise Café’s last day of operation at the Meetinghouse location will be on Sunday December 1. The Café will be closed on Thanksgiving. “Thanks for your support and we look forward to seeing you when we reopen in our new location. Happy Thanksgiving!” Herman said.

The name "Sunrise Cafe" holds special significance for Herman. He often uses the expression "The sun is coming up tomorrow" to console those facing challenges. For him, each sunrise symbolizes a new day, an opportunity to start over and do good in the world. This philosophy is at the heart of Sunrise Cafe's mission.

We will share additional information regarding Sunrise Cafe's location when it is available.
