St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, located at 353 Main Street, will host its annual Candlelight Blue Christmas Service on Sunday, December 15, at 4 p.m.
This reflective service, featuring prayers and meditations, offers a space for peace and comfort during the often-busy pre-Christmas season. It is especially intended for those in the Ridgefield community who may be grieving, feeling lonely, or experiencing pain during the holiday season.
The service will include special music by the St. Stephen’s Choir and a harpist.“There are years when we hurt during this holiday season and can’t enjoy the festivities as others seem to be able to do,” shared one of the service’s organizers. “We believe as we do these things together, God comes to shine light into our darkness.”
