Purchase Don't Mess with Tess tees and Bartolo's famous Marinara Boss Sauce to support this 25-year-old's recovery from a rare form of cancer
Ridgefield, you are amazing! After we posted the article about the plight of Tess Michaelsen who spent her 25th birthday at Mass General Hospital in Boston battling Exterior-Axial Chordoma cancer, the birthday cards (and even gifts) steadily flowed!
Tess is the daughter of Art and Julia Michaelsen, owner of Bartolo restaurant. "She read every one of the cards and was completely uplifted!' her Aunt Nancy Burke reports.
Tess texted HamletHub from her hospital bed at Mass General writing, “Thank you! This means more to me than you know. I needed this.”
While Tess continues to fight, the financial burden is an additional layer of emotion for the Michaelsen family. Tess's Aunt Nancy Burke has launched the "Don’t Mess with Tess" campaign to raise funds for Tess's medical expenses and recovery.
"Don’t Mess with Tess" t-shirts are available for purchase at Bartolo for $30 each. Additionally, Bartolo's famous Marinara Boss Sauce is being sold in pint and quart sizes for $15 and $30 respectively. All proceeds from the sales will directly support Tess and her family during this challenging time.
The outpouring of love and support from the community has been a source of strength for Tess and her family. The "Don’t Mess with Tess" campaign is an opportunity for everyone to show their support and solidarity for Tess as she continues her battle against cancer.
To support Tess and her family, visit Bartolo to purchase "Don’t Mess with Tess" T-shirts and Marinara Boss Sauce. Your contribution will make a meaningful difference in Tess's journey towards recovery.
