Yesterday, February 15 was "National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day". "We extend our deep appreciation to the School Resource Officers in our great community, for their remarkable contributions to the students and schools they serve. We appreciate all that you do!" Ridgefield Police Department remarks.
- SRO Mark Giglio works out of East Ridge Middle School and oversees Branchville Elementary School, Farmingville Elementary School, and Veterans Park Elementary School.
- SRO Matthew Seibert works out of Scotts Ridge Middle School and oversees Barlow Mountain Elementary School, Ridgebury Elementary School, and Scotland Elementary School.
- SRO Garrett Vasquez works as a fill-in School Resource Officer at all of the schools, whenever needed.
