The Aldrich partners with Ross Bread to support new Sculpture Garden

The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and Ross Artisanal Bakery & Cafe launch a new partnership as the Museum prepares to open its newly renovated Sculpture Garden this fall.

Starting October 14th, visitors to Ross Artisanal Bakery and Cafe can support the Museum's Sculpture Garden fundraising campaign through their in-store purchases. 10% of the proceeds from the Bakery’s new Aldrich Linzer Square and The Aldrich Gift Box will be donated to the Museum’s Sculpture Garden campaign. The Aldrich Gift Box will also be available for purchase in the Museum’s Shop. In addition, Members of the Museum will now receive 10% off purchases made in the Bakery.

The Museum looks forward to welcoming visitors back to campus later this fall and will celebrate the reopening with a free Community Day on Sunday, November 17th from noon to 5 pm. Ross will host a Pop-Up at The Aldrich during the Community Day, where visitors will be able to purchase a selection of items from the Bakery to enjoy as they explore the new Sculpture Garden.

“Part of the vision for the new Sculpture Garden at The Aldrich was the hope that we could create a welcoming and accessible environment for our visitors to experience contemporary art outdoors. Nothing could make the experience more welcoming than the opportunity to enjoy some of Ridgefield’s best food and drink from our friends at Ross” said Cybele Maylone, the Museum’s Executive Director.

“We are honored and thrilled to partner with The Aldrich to support their growth and expansion of the Sculpture Garden. The aspirations of both organizations align beautifully as we share a commitment of embracing the arts and delivering on the promise of excellence and hospitality. The opportunity to partner with like minds to build a brighter, happier, and more engaged community in which we live and thrive is extremely exciting for all of us at Ross” said Ian Lewis, COO & Operating Partner, Ross Artisanal Bakery & Cafe.

The November 17th Community Day is the beginning of an on-site partnership that will expand in the year ahead.
