Peter Iwasiutyn is the recipient of a college scholarship to pursue environmental studies
Peter Iwasiutyn, who will be a freshman this Fall at Lafayette College, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Ridgefield Garden Club. This scholarship has been awarded annually by the Club since 2007 to students who plan to pursue a college major related to the stewardship of the environment. Peter is not only an honor student but he has also volunteered at Ballard Gardens, McKeon Farm, The Hickories and Aldrich Park. Gail Heaslip, Ridgefield Garden Club member, presented the scholarship certificate at the Ridgefield High School award ceremony. Peter plans to major in environment science in the Fall. We congratulate him on his success, and wish him a wonderful college experience.
