Why did you start your business?
BellaHome just celebrated 20 years of being a Ridgefield staple. I grew up in Ridgefield and worked at the store when the first owners opened the doors. It went on to belong to another special owner, Robin Weber, and when she and I talked in 2020 it became a realistic dream for me to take over such a beloved place. BellaHome continues to bring unique gifts, home decor, and clothing options to everyone in the Ridgefield community.
What is your best-selling product/service?
BellaHome offers many categories of gifts, including children's, and women's clothing and accessories, men's items, and home decor for every season.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We love supporting local businesses and artists. To name a few: Annie Caravelli (hand-painted items, custom pet and home ornaments, special Ridgefield and local pieces), Oak & Vale (Candles/Diffusers), Marlena Albin (hand-painted floral cards), Robin Ann Jewelry, Hour Lake, Little Bee of CT (Beeswax Candles), Onion Hill (Cards)
Since taking over ownership in 2020, I have tried to bring new customers to a long-established and successful business. We now offer many clothing options for every age and gender. We are the only store in the area offering Tonies, a screen-free children's entertainment toy. We are always looking for new ways to expand offerings to our customers. Also, if you ever find a place that needs a BellaHome, we are open to suggestions for a second location!
