Meet Carolyn Onorato founder of reFabjack.
Why did you start your business?
The timing was just perfect for me and what I was selling! I started a shop on Etsy a few years ago selling my vintage and refashioned denim jackets and some accessories but I always dreamed of having a brick-and-mortar store. I have a large collection of vintage denim jackets, costume jewelry and accessories so it needed to be seen up close and personal.
I chose Ridgefield because of its amazing Main Street and village shopping vibe!
What is your best-selling product?
So far, my refashioned denim jackets have caused the most excitement.
My collection of vintage denim jackets has been doing well too!
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
Oh yes! All the time! I have so many ideas for making my business better. And the fashion world keeps changing so you need to keep up. Additionally, my customers have been offering their ideas as well. I want my store to be a super fun place to shop so I will continue to change things up.
