First he was a surfer. Now he is a cool singer/songwriter whose new album Start Livin’ features folk-infused songs that help the listener chill out. On Thursday, August 15, at 8 p.m., Donovan Frankenreiter will create an idyllic musical event at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Special guests are SOSOS and The Breedings.
It’s not surprising that a pro surfer is being underwritten by The Ridgefield Bicycle Company, a local sport shop whose “Thirsty Thursday” bike ride will kick off at 6 p.m. the night of this show from the Playhouse parking lot and end in time for the start of the concert. Each rider at the Thirsty Thursday bike ride will get one free ticket to see Donovan Frankreiter.
