Seeking Volunteers for "Paint the Town Purple"

Ridgefield is going purple! During the week of August 17-21, the Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter is holding an awareness campaign called, "Paint the Town Purple," in memory and in honor of those with Alzheimer's disease.

From the gazebo in Ballard Park to the tree-lined Main Street, residents will be seeing purple themed ribbons and decorations. All of the ribbons were made by volunteers, including residents at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center and Ridgefield Crossings who are living with memory care concerns. The Association is seeking volunteers to help decorate Main Street and the gazebo on Monday, August 17th, at 11 AM (at the gazebo in Ballard Park), and on Friday, August 21st, to take down the decorations (tbd).

If you are interested in helping, please contact Bonnie at outreach@laurelridgehcc.com to become a volunteer.
