Rotary Club Of Ridgefield Gives Grant To Danbury Woman’s Center

The Women's Center was the recipient of a $1000 grant from the Rotary Club of Ridgefield. Samantha Conetta Flynn, Development Director for the Women's Center, in reference to the grant stated:

"This generous support allows the Women's Center to continue their valuable work that they do serving domestic violence and sexual assault clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Their services are always FREE, as their clients turn to them during sensitive, often traumatic times in their lives, and they never turn anyone away.  This support also makes it possible for the Women's Center to continue reaching out and educating members of our community, providing them with the tools they need to recognize and respond to abusive situations from their formative years through adulthood."
