Ridgefield Believes In Brooke: Farmers' Market Is Huge Success!

Believe in Brooke Farmers' Market Raises Nearly 5K

The Ridgefield community rallied together this past Sunday to purchase fresh, local veggies and fruits in support of resident Brooke Blake, a little girl who is battling a rare form of brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

The Farmers' Market, located in front of Bissell Pharmacy, rasied nearly $5,000 for the Blake Family. Local businesses supported the event as well. Audrey Road Kids, Whip, Salon and Bissell Pharmacy all donated 10% of Sunday sales to the Blake Family.

The Market was organized by residents Emily Mills, Anne Uecker, Kirsten Cerulli, and Megan Couri. Couri said it best when she posted this note of thanks on Facebook:

It really takes a village! Thank you to all who came out and supported The Blake Family at the Farmer's Market. We raised almost $5,000 in one day!!
